Curlen received his formal education while attending The University of Cincinnati and The Ohio State University. He holds an AS in Computer Programming Technology and a BS in Computer Science with Engineering.

Curlen has worked in many capacities for companies in Government Contracting, publicly held Fortune 500, as well as small privately held companies.

Curlen prides himself on his ability to stay current with the times in the computer industry. He has modeled his career after leading edge technologies such as Windows development, Java development, Web development, Social Networking, and Web 2.0.
